** What is this tool? **
This tool upgrades an existing SidekickPC database in SQL 2005 Express to SQL 2008 R2 Express.
Main
reasons for doing this is because SQL 2008 has a larger database file size limit.
• SQL 2005 Express has a 4GB database file size limit.
• SQL 2008 R2 Express has a 10GB database file size limit.
** When use it? **
When the 'Could not allocate a new page for
database ’SidekickPC’ because of insufficient disk space in filegroup ‘PRIMARY’...' error appears on your window during SidekickPC update.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please we recommend you to check if another applications use SQL Express 2005. In this case make sure of its compatibility with the SQL Express 2008 R2.
Remember that you must have administrative rights on the computer to execute the upgrade.
